Job summary

Axis Communications in Bloomington, MN seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to partner with the sales team and partners on pre-sales solutions across Axis hardware and software. You will design solutions, advise on implementation, and educate customers.

The role emphasizes field design services, site surveys, camera placement, network design, and delivering best practices for Axis products. Travel up to 15% expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with site surveys, camera placement, network design.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routers, switches and VPNs.
• Understanding of image quality and video transport protocols.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and build customer relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales team and partners on pre-sales solutions.
• Lead design tasks and advise on Axis hardware/software platforms.
• Conduct site design, integration questions, POC work.
• Provide design training and best practices for partners and customers.
