Job summary

Mid-Continent Engineering is hiring a Sales Engineer for the Minneapolis, MN area. This full-time, first-shift position runs 6 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities include seeking new sales opportunities and building strong customer relationships to explain complex solutions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in manufacturing or engineering (preferred) and at least 5 years of sales experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of welding, machining, and other manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading; interpret customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Seek new sales opportunities with existing or new customers.
• Build long-lasting customer relationships and understand needs.
• Present value proposition and determine fit with customer requirements.
• Capture scope changes and communicate cost impacts.
