Job summary

Chromalox is seeking an Outside Sales Engineer - OEM to drive growth across the Midwest US for our electrical thermal solutions portfolio. You will qualify new customers, cultivate existing relationships, and generate opportunities for products, systems, and services.

Based in/near Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, or Minneapolis, you will develop proposals, perform basic thermal calculations, manage CRM data, and support order cycles from quotes to delivery while attending industry events to expand

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales or service industry experience.
• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Reside in/near Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, or Minneapolis.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Ability to perform basic thermal calculations.

Responsibilities

• Nurture relationships and drive sales growth with current and future customers.
• Schedule and attend in-person and remote meetings.
• Develop proposals and perform basic thermal calculations for heating solutions.
• Manage CRM data and order cycle including quotes and drawings.
• Attend industry events to build relationships with key contacts.
