The role emphasizes aggressive lead development, bid participation, and collaboration with Marketing to enhance brand presence and capture new projects while maintaining a robust Salesforce-driven pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Maximize regional financial performance by expanding Flygt brand sales and services.
• Grow territory accounts while following company policies and directives.
• Solicit orders through construction marketing data leads, RFQ responses, cold calling, and other channels.
• Apply application technologies to drive specifications and provide pumps, services, and solutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing on bid reporting, lead management, and brand building in the territory.
• Maintain an effective sales pipeline using Salesforce.com.
• Develop local marketing strategies to expand Flygt product penetration.
• Build consultative relationships with municipal end users, engineering firms, and utility contractors to win projects.
• Create cross-division opportunities through understanding the Xylem solution set.
• Monitor competition and market trends; report findings to management.
• Prepare sales reports including bids, quotes, forecasts, and expense reports; engage with Salesforce and showcase wins.
• Attend sales meetings, trainings, blitzes, and trade shows; participate in community activities as a PR asset.
• Review online bid services to stay aware of funding and public bid opportunities.
• Perform additional duties as needed by the organization.
