Job summary

Corning Inc. seeks a Sales Engineer to support strategic NVIDIA engagement, focusing on Co-Packaged Optics and data-center connectivity.

You will work with Corning’s PCS and DCBU teams and NVIDIA to enable system-level design, validation, and large-scale deployments of optical solutions. The role is highly customer-facing, accelerates design wins, and requires translating technical feedback into actionable inputs for product management, engineering, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, physics, or applied science required; PhD preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in optical fibers and connectivity.
• Familiarity with multi-layer data center topologies like spine/leaf; AI network architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Corning’s primary field technical interface to NVIDIA engineering and architecture teams.
• Lead system-level architecture discussions across hardware platforms, CPO implementations, and interconnect solutions.
• Engage with customer teams to understand requirements, constraints, and deployment challenges.
• Provide technical guidance across PCS and data-center connectivity solutions.
• Lead evaluations, design-in activities, and validation from development to production ramp.
