Jobot is seeking a Sales Engineer for Building Automation/HVAC Controls in the commercial facilities sector. The role drives new business and supports existing accounts by managing the full sales cycle for building automation projects, focusing on plan-and-spec, design-build, and direct owner opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Experience in HVAC controls or building automation preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and pricing from plans and specifications.
• Manage opportunities from pursuit through project handoff.
• Track project scope, schedule, and cost changes.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM documentation.
• Present BAS software demonstrations and service offerings.
• Support margin management and post-project follow-up.
