Job summary
Sandvik Coromant in Central Indiana is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager to serve Indianapolis and Muncie. You will advise on CNC machining and tooling applications, build durable customer relationships, and drive growth while offering the full Coromant product and service line.
The role requires a manufacturing engineering background, hands-on CNC/CAD/CAM experience, and strong negotiation and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Requires a degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or high-volume automotive manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven success or ability in technical sales and customer-facing roles.
Responsibilities
- Consult on CNC machining and tooling applications for customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Deliver Sandvik Coromant product and service offerings.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide total customer solutions.
- Maintain and optimize opportunities using CRM tools for tracking and forecasting.
