Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Indiana is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager for Central Indiana to drive customer sales and provide technical support in Indianapolis and Muncie. You will apply CNC machining and tooling expertise to advise customers and deliver the full Coromant product and service offering.

This role requires a manufacturing engineering degree or equivalent, experience with CNC, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools, and willingness to travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on CNC machining, CAD/CAM and tooling experience.
• Background in aerospace/defense and/or high-volume auto manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven success in technical sales or customer-facing roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; willing to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Consult on CNC machining and tooling applications using technical expertise.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in Indianapolis and Muncie.
• Deliver the full Coromant product and service offering to customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide total customer solutions.
• Maintain and optimize opportunities using CRM tools for forecasting and follow-up.
