Job summary

MidFirst Bank is seeking a Personal Banker Associate who performs both teller and personal banking duties to serve customers and deepen relationships. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, efficient transactions, and proactive sales of banking products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting services, opening deposit accounts, processing loans, and building referrals while maintaining high customer service standards and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals.
• Minimum 6 months of cash handling, processing of transactional payments, and/or point of sale experience in a retail sales or service environment and/or previous banking experience.
• Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
• Strong work ethic and high integrity.
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.).
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank’s expense.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting banking center staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to identify financial products and services that meet their needs.
• Promote financial products and services.
• Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests.
• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while balancing cash drawer and following internal controls.
• Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence.
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions.
• Support other employees as needed.
