Job summary

MidFirst Bank is seeking a Personal Banker Associate who performs as both Teller and Personal Banker to handle customer transactions, promote products, and deepen relationships. The role requires delivering high-quality service while meeting sales goals and supporting bank staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling and/or Point of Sale (POS) transaction experience in a retail sales or food industry environment.
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank's expense
• Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers
• Strong work ethic and high integrity
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
• Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environment
• Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking centre staff as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs
• Promote financial products and services
• Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customers
• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures
• Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centres of Influence
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions
• Support other employees as needed
