Job summary

MidFirst Bank seeks a Personal Banker Associate who blends teller duties with personal banking to serve customers, process transactions, and promote products.

Duties include greeting customers, opening deposits, taking loan applications, handling cash accurately, generating new business, and supporting staff. A friendly, sales‑oriented teammate with cash handling experience; Notary status preferred or willing to become one; weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment.
• At least 6 months cash handling or POS experience in a retail or banking setting.
• Ability to generate referrals and visit local businesses.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident and enthusiastic personality.
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (Bank expense).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming, customer-focused environment.
• Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships to identify financial products and services that meet customers' needs.
• Promote financial products and services.
• Open deposit accounts and process loan applications; handle consumer loan/credit line requests.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with balanced cash drawer and internal controls.
• Generate new business and expand relationships through networking and Centers of Influence.
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns with positive solutions.
• Support other employees as needed.
