Job summary

Total Wine & More is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to oversee Brentwood operations in Missouri. You will report to the Store Manager and help drive sales, customer service, and store performance.

You will recruit, train, and develop a sales-focused team, manage payroll, inventory, and merchandising, and uphold compliance with alcohol laws while delivering a welcoming, knowledgeable customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of work experience in retail
• 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in retail
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving issues
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store objectives
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to selling alcohol and maintain a safe store environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
