Job summary

GenSystems Power Solutions is seeking a Sales Director (SST) to lead commercial growth for Solid-State Transformer products and advanced power conversion solutions across North America.

This role focuses on strategic customers and commercial opportunities within AI data centers, hyperscale infrastructure, electrical power systems, utilities, industrial applications, and mission-critical environments, with emphasis on NVIDIA ecosystems and AI data center deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical sales, business development, strategic account management, or market development experience within electrical power systems, power conversion, data center infrastructure, utility equipment, or related engineered products.
• Demonstrated experience selling electrical equipment, power systems, power conversion technology, or advanced power infrastructure.
• Direct professional experience with NVIDIA, an NVIDIA partner, NVIDIA customers, or companies supporting NVIDIA-based AI data center infrastructure.
• Experience engaging data center, hyperscale, utility, EPC, industrial, or mission-critical power customers.
• Working knowledge of high-power electrical infrastructure including transformers, power conversion, switchgear, electrical distribution, grid interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the North American sales strategy for SST products and related power conversion solutions.
• Identify and develop opportunities within AI data centers, hyperscalers, utilities, EPCs, electrical infrastructure providers, industrial customers, and strategic partners.
• Build relationships with customers and partners supporting NVIDIA-based AI infrastructure and high-density data center power requirements.
• Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline from initial customer engagement through proposal, commercial negotiation, and award.
• Engage customers to understand power architecture, electrical distribution, voltage conversion, reliability, efficiency, redundancy, and capacity requirements.
• Position SST and advanced power conversion technologies against customer technical and commercial requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams to develop solutions for complex customer applications.
• Lead proposal strategy, pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract development.
• Monitor AI infrastructure, data center power, utility, grid modernization, electrical equipment, and competitive market developments.
• Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunity forecasting, account plans, and commercial reporting.
• Represent GenSystems at customer meetings, technical discussions, conferences, and industry events
