About The Role

The right Sales Development Representative candidate will have experience with outbound sales, thrive in a small startup environment, be open to trying new approaches, and be self-motivated daily. This person should be comfortable initiating relaxed yet informative conversations with prospects, understand how to assess company needs, and tailor outreach accordingly.

We are seeking someone based in the Eastern time zone.

This role requires an ambitious self-starter capable of identifying qualified leads and opportunities, with strong relationship selling skills and the ability to manage sales calls at various levels.

  • 2+ years of successful prospecting experience in SaaS
  • Insightful questioning and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.com, Outreach, Sales Nav
  • Outbound prospecting experience
  • Experience in territory-based selling
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and an energetic phone presence
  • High integrity and commitment to growing an early-stage business
  • Ability to stay focused and engaged remotely with regular check-ins

The core responsibility is to set qualified meetings for the BetterComp Sales team through activities such as:

  • Building a pipeline via outbound sales efforts
  • Performing 99% outbound prospecting
  • Collaborating on territory planning and strategy
  • Executing marketing campaigns
  • Conveying BetterComp’s value clearly and confidently
  • Meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Tracking activities and opportunities in Salesforce.com
