About The Role

We are hiring a Part-Time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to strengthen our outbound discovery efforts across North America.

In this role, you will engage senior decision-makers — such as Utility Directors, CFOs, and General Managers — in professional discovery conversations to understand their operational needs and introduce them to Bynry’s solutions.

Important

  • This is a strategic outreach and discovery role (no closing, no selling).
  • Candidates must have prior experience or knowledge in the Utilities sector (water, electric, or gas utilities).
  • No travel is required — this is a fully remote position focused on phone, email, and virtual engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct outbound cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach to utility company executives.
  • Lead professional discovery conversations to explore challenges, modernization goals, and potential fits for Bynry’s SMART360 platform.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Bynry’s senior sales team.
  • Accurately log conversations, insights, and next steps in CRM (HubSpot).
  • Maintain a positive, consultative brand image in every interaction with utility stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Utilities sector knowledge is required — either through direct experience working with utilities or selling to utilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leadership (Directors, CFOs, GMs).
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role (sales, business development, account management, or consulting).
  • Strong discovery skills — ability to ask strategic questions, listen actively, and qualify opportunities.
  • Comfort using CRM systems (like HubSpot) and prospecting tools (like LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Located in the USA (preferably in Eastern or Central Time Zones).
  • High energy, self-starter attitude, and a growth mindset.
