Actalent is seeking a driven Sales Development Rep in Merrifield, VA to advance careers of engineers and scientists. You will build trusted relationships with our network of clients and partners, establish target accounts, manage CRM-driven outreach, and contribute to revenue growth.

The role includes a comprehensive training program, strong earning potential through commissions, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and/or sales.
• Strong desire for a career in Business-to-Business/relationship-based sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills and a high standard of character and professionalism.
• Strong propensity to learn as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as talent solutions and services subject matter expert for respective territory.
• Establish target accounts and prospects using internal and external resources.
• Identify, develop, and manage new and existing client relationships using CRMs and external networking tools.
• Conduct well-prepared face-to-face meetings with decision makers to qualify business needs.
• Increase sales and market share through assigned and newly generated accounts.
• Negotiate bill rates and terms to maximize profitability while staying in line with market standards.
• Build and maintain relationships by providing quality consultants and marketing resumes.
• Lead client meetings and consultant lunches as part of sales activities.
• Partner with Recruiting to identify top talent to fulfill client needs.
