Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Sales Development Representative to learn recruiting fundamentals and sales basics, including prospecting, client engagement, and qualification. This entry‑level role targets accounts in a defined territory and involves cold calls to set meetings with the goal of guiding prospects through the early sales cycle.

You will collaborate with Delivery and Sales teams to build relationships, generate leads, and support revenue growth, with a clear path toward Account Manager.

Qualifications

• Sales degree or certification or 1-2 years of sales experience; internship or competitions encouraged.
• Knowledge of prospecting and client engagement; ability to learn the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Identify target accounts in defined territory and make cold calls to set meetings.
• Generate leads and attend client meetings with Delivery and Sales teams.
• Build relationships with clients to support revenue growth initiatives.
• Negotiate terms and bill rates; ensure labor rates align with market standards.
• Communicate account knowledge to recruiters and sales team through meetings.
