Job summary

Big Bolt LLC in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a Sales Assistant to support quoting, order entry, customer follow-up, and cross-department coordination. You will learn products and processes while advancing in sales.

You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager and other teams to move orders efficiently, handle quotes, and maintain records. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in sales support, customer service, order management, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and dependable follow-through
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

• Preparing and entering sales quotes and customer orders in NetSuite
• Following up with customers on quotes, pricing, and order progress
• Keeping customer portals, order information, and sales records current
• Obtaining vendor pricing and coordinating purchase order details
• Working with Sales, Quality, Purchasing, Shipping, and production teams to keep orders moving
• Following up on the production floor to help expedite orders
• Assisting with returns, return authorizations (RMAs), and rework
• Helping resolve inventory discrepancies, material issues, and order errors
• Maintaining documentation and suggesting improvements to everyday processes
