Job summary

VCNY Home is seeking an assistant to support the VP of Sales, gaining exposure to home textile products and the import/manufacturing processes. You will work directly with executives in Bath, Bedding & Windows categories and interact with multiple internal teams.

Ideal for recent graduates in Home, Fashion, Apparel or Accessories. Spanish language skills, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and a proactive, service-minded approach are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of account, relationship, client, or partner management experience.
• Spanish speaking is a must.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining retail accounts by supporting the VP of Sales.
• Coordinate with internal departments to compile information.
• Create item set ups with the retailer and internally.
• Follow up with shipments by coordinating with Sourcing and Packaging teams.
• Drive assigned projects to completion and track results.
• Respond to clients via email, web portal & phone as needed.
• Communicate with Sales team on issues and concerns raised by customers.
• Attend sales meetings/conference calls and assist in projects.

Support the efforts of the VP of Sales at VCNY Home. Learn about home textile products and the import/manufacturing industry by working directly with executives and management in the Bath, Bedding & Windows categories. Job Summary

• Respond to and engage with clients via email, web portal & phone as needed
• Communicate with Sales team on issues and concerns raised by customers
• Attend sales meetings/conference calls, assist in projects, and create PowerPoint presentations
• Develop knowledge of the Sales function including merchandise selection, testing, displays, etc.
• Other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Spanish speaking is a must.

• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and shift priorities quickly
