Mercedes-Benz of Marin, part of Swickard Auto Group in San Rafael, seeks a Sales Consultant to connect guests with the Mercedes-Benz lineup through hospitality and consultative selling.

From day one, you’ll receive brand and product training, with an OTE reflecting performance. Ideal for professionals from luxury hospitality or high-end retail aiming to build a lasting book of business in an affluent Marin market.

Qualifications

• You are a relationship-first sales professional who earns trust through preparation and follow-through.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, high-end retail, financial services, or consultative sales is preferred.
• No automotive experience required; paid brand and product training provided from day one.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and curiosity to understand their needs.
• Guide guests through Mercedes-Benz lineup with product knowledge.
• Present vehicles and conduct test drives to bring the experience to life.
• Build and maintain a guest pipeline via follow-up and CRM.
• Collaborate with finance and management for a transparent purchase experience.
• Meet monthly targets while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Stay current on Mercedes-Benz lineup and EV offerings.
• Represent Mercedes-Benz of Marin and Swickard's hospitality standard.

• Guide guests through the Mercedes-Benz lineup with growing product knowledge and confidence -- connecting the brand's engineering, design, and technology to what matters most to each buyer
• Present vehicles and conduct test drives that bring the Mercedes-Benz experience to life
• Build and maintain a guest pipeline through consistent, disciplined follow-up and CRM use
• Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a transparent, pressure-free purchase experience
• Meet monthly targets while maintaining strong guest satisfaction scores
• Stay current on Mercedes-Benz's full lineup, technology features, and growing EV and PHEV offerings
• Represent Mercedes-Benz of Marin and Swickard's hospitality standard in every guest interaction

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• No automotive experience required -- paid Mercedes-Benz brand and product training provided from day one
• Proven success in luxury hospitality, high-end retail, financial services, real estate, or consultative sales -- backgrounds that transfer directly to a sophisticated Marin County buyer profile
• Relationship-first approach -- you listen before you present and earn trust before you ask for the sale
• Polished, professional presence -- Marin County guests are discerning and expect a consultant who matches their standard
• Self-motivated with a genuine drive to build a long-term book of business, not just close individual deals
• Comfortable with CRM tools and digital communication
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
