Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Sales Coach to support the Ryder Sales University program, focusing on coaching and developing field sales talent.

You will meet with salespeople to review assessments and IDPs, facilitate training sessions in classroom and via webinar, and work with sales leadership to identify development opportunities. This role requires independent work with minimal supervision, 20-30% travel, and strong collaboration across HQ, sales, operations, and customers to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent work experience.
• Seven (7) years or more Sales or Account Manager with successful sales and coaching experience within a multi-channel business service environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance and development needs of the sales team; curate development plans and coaching; follow-up on activities and progress with sales leadership.
• Consultant to field sales leaders; facilitate and deliver sales training via classroom and webinar; decide on delivery method, content and design with Sales Training organization.
• Provide recommendations on training content, design, and modality; seek continuous improvement based on evaluations, feedback, and best practices.
• Travel: 20-30%.
