You'll experience the full lifecycle of a Unum case, receive mentors, resume/interview support, and skills workshops. The role emphasizes independence and teamwork, with hands-on exposure to prospecting, enrollment, and relationship management.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program
• Rising seniors or first-year grad students preferred
• Competitive GPA requirement
• Demonstrates leadership and involvement in activities
• Shows genuine interest in sales and client management and insurance industry
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel
• Able to work independently on projects
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Avail approx. 40 hours/week during business hours

Responsibilities

• Work through the full lifecycle of a Unum case during the internship program
• Collaborate with mentors and sponsors to guide your experience
• Receive resume writing and interview prep support
• Attend skill development workshops and information sessions
• Shadow sales and client management colleagues to learn the role
• Deliver a capstone presentation analyzing an assigned business case
