Job summary

Unum is seeking rising seniors for a 10-week paid internship program in sales and client management. You will be immersed in the company culture, work on real projects, and present insights to business leaders at the end of the summer.

You will be guided by mentors, complete rewarding projects, and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a Unum case, including resume and interview preparation support and opportunities to earn college credits.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college degree program.
• Prefer rising seniors or first-year graduate students with competitive GPA.
• Demonstrates leadership and involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Demonstrates genuine interest in sales and client management and desire to learn about insurance.

Responsibilities

• Work for Unum in a professional office setting.
• Engage in weekly focus areas covering the lifecycle of a Unum case.
• Receive mentorship and sponsor support throughout the internship and beyond.
• Receive resume writing and interview prep assistance.
• Attend skill development workshops and networking sessions.
• Participate in capstone presentation by analyzing an assigned business case.
• Learn about Field and Home Office functions and attend information sessions.
