Sales Business Development Representative

What you’ll be doing:
  • Build long-term relationships with customers as the primary point of contact.
  • Manage your book of business effectively through productivity and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners.
  • Keep current clients satisfied and deliver exceptional service daily.
  • Manage existing accounts to drive sales and profit margins.
  • Meet or exceed productivity metrics and goals.
  • Develop internal and external business relationships.
  • Make outbound sales calls to grow the customer base.
  • Educate customers on products, programs, and consolidation opportunities.
What you bring to the table:
  • High integrity in all dealings.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to uncover, develop, and close sales.
  • Relationship building and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of products, pricing, competition, and sales objectives.
  • Ability to sell company values and services via phone and internet.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to sell to multiple buyer levels within small to mid-sized customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work on-site at our Lincolnshire, IL location at least 4 days per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 6 months+ relevant experience in sales or customer service (preferred).
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven account management or relevant experience.
  • Strong business acumen and sales strategy.
