What you’ll be doing:
  1. Managing sales results for an assigned book of accounts with large sales potential (~$8-10M+). This includes acquiring new business, growing sales, and managing the current customer base.
  2. Mapping accounts to identify core and specialty category opportunities.
  3. Developing a solid understanding of accounts, building strategic growth plans, and identifying new opportunities for growth, business development, and specialty categories.
  4. Prioritizing your account portfolio to understand accounts deeply and deploy resources effectively.
  5. Using enablement tools regularly to keep customer data updated, manage a healthy pipeline, and advance opportunities.
  6. Gaining knowledge of products, customers, and vertical markets.
  7. Utilizing Salesforce on a regular basis.
  8. Executing sales strategies through phone, social selling, email/digital communication, and on-site visits.
  9. Applying sales methodologies to retain and grow the customer base.
What you bring to the table:
  1. Ability to engage with customers at senior levels.
  2. Strong presentation development and delivery skills.
  3. Experience in consultative, solutions, insight selling, and negotiation.
  4. Strong business, financial, operations, and technology acumen.
  5. Ability to analyze customer data, industry trends, and create tailored solutions based on Quill’s value proposition.
  6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Creative and cognitive thinking skills.
  8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. At least 3 years of sales experience in account management and/or business development.
  3. Availability to travel up to 4 times per year.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
  2. Experience working with large, complex accounts.
  3. Track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  4. Experience managing complex deal shaping from start to finish.
  5. Experience in B2B sales processes.
  6. Experience in account retention and growth.
