Scarlett Events is a boutique event planning agency known for elevated, design-forward experiences—from luxe kids’ parties (avg. budget $2,100) to sophisticated adult celebrations (avg. budget $3,400). With in-person events surging over 40% last year, we’re scaling up from approximately 2 custom events per month, and we need a driven rainmaker to fuel our growth.

The Role

As our 100% commission-only Sales & Business Development Representative, you’ll own the full sales cycle:

  • Prospect & Generate Leads: Network, cold outreach, social media, and referrals to build a robust pipeline
  • Client Consult & Pitch: Articulate Scarlett Events’ design-forward value; tailor proposals to client needs and budgets
  • Close High-Value Deals: Negotiate and sign contracts, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly targets
  • Handoff & Collaborate: Ensure a seamless transition from sale to our planning team
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Scarlett Events at industry and luxury-lifestyle events
  • Strategize & Report: Share market insights, track your pipeline, and forecast sales with the founder
You Bring
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Preferably in events, luxury services, hospitality, or high-touch industries
  • Upscale Market Savvy: Experience with discerning, high-value clientele
  • Entrepreneurial Grit: Self-motivated, resilient, and excited by a commission-only structure
  • Consultative Communication: Strong verbal/written skills; adept at building trust and handling objections
