Job Overview

The Sales and Business Development Manager, Wholesale is an accomplished, tenured, and dynamic professional with a proven track record in the wireless telecommunications industry. This role requires a strategic thinker and an exceptional communicator capable of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities in a rapidly evolving market. The manager will oversee new growth initiatives from inception to execution, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to maximize value. They will serve as the external face of T-Mobile to prospect high-value wholesale partners, managing the full sales cycle from outreach to contract execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and drive the complete sales cycle of new wholesale partnerships, including structuring complex deals, developing economic and operational models, negotiating terms, and executing contracts with legal support.
  2. Establish repeatable processes to prioritize and close new opportunities.
  3. Identify new wholesale opportunities, build and manage sales funnels, close deals, and meet/exceed sales objectives.
  4. Perform other duties/projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED in Engineering, Business, or Economics (Required)
  • Master’s in Business Administration (Preferred)
  • Over 5 years of progressive experience in business development within wireless telecommunications.
  • Successful track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strategic sales and business development experience in wholesale wireless or related industries (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (Required)
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts and collaborating on legal documentation (Required)
  • Strong analytical skills with financial modeling experience (Required)
  • Experience leading business case modeling for deals over $100M/year (Required)
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset (Required)
  • Technical understanding of wireless and internet technologies (Required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including C-level interactions (Required)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple external partners and P&L responsibilities (Required)

  • Travel required: Yes
  • Base pay range: $100,400 - $181,200; plus a 15% bonus target
