Job summary

Beach Bum Tanning is seeking a Sales Associate to join our team in Winchester, VA. You will deliver outstanding customer service, promote our tanning services, and work toward sales targets in a commission-driven environment.

As a member of our brand, you will greet clients, assess skin types, recommend equipment and lotions, and maintain a clean, well-stocked salon while building lasting client relationships. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible and adaptable; required to work evening, weekend, and/or holidays as well as work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm and welcoming experience.
• Assess skin types and determine the appropriate tanning equipment and lotion; explain the tanning process and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized tanning area; ensure equipment, lotions, and supplies are stocked.
• Upsell tanning lotions and other products with recommendations based on client needs.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining professionalism and customer service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate client records of tanning history and preferences for a personalized experience.
• Open and close the salon on time.

Responsibilities

• Upselling tanning lotions and other products to clients, providing recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences
• Meeting and exceeding sales targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Maintaining accurate records of client information, including tanning history and preferences, to ensure a personalized and consistent experience with each visit
• Opening and closing the tanning salon on time.
