Job summary

MCCORKLE NURSERIES INC in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Experienced Sales Associate to support the branch team, quote team and business development by developing quotes and orders and by following up on all communications.

You will manage and grow customer accounts, document interactions, and own the sales process from inquiry to delivery, while staying aligned with MNI Direct policies and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role is full-time with a $20.00-$24.00 hourly range.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or secondary diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Green industry experience or knowledge of horticulture, landscape, and/or nursery a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to operate the customer ordering and inventory system.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.
• Ability to learn plant names, characteristics, and sources.
• Possess and maintain a valid, clean state Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via the phone or through online ordering
• Be a Team Player by cultivating and managing lifetime relationships with internal and external customers
• Own the sales process and verify inventory for sales orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Be proactive and Work until the job is done right on all customer opportunities to grow sales with current and potential customers
• Work with Business Development to drive sales through the branch and provide solutions to customers by developing customer quotes and orders and following up on all communication.
• Submit all qualified quotes to the Quoting Team on a timely basis and communicate and follow up with the customers on submitted quotes.
• Perform other duties as required and serve as a resource for the MNI Direct team.
