Job summary

Goodwill NCW in Green Bay, WI is seeking a full-time store team member to support daily operations and customer service at the Green Bay West Store. You will handle checkout, assist shoppers, and maintain a clean, safe backroom environment.

This role requires strong time management, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work holidays, evenings, and weekends. Training will cover the Round Up and Good Points programs to help meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a cash register and accurately count money.
• Basic math skills required.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with computers or willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by efficiently and accurately scanning tickets and processing payments following cash handling standards.
• Educates customers on Round Up program to achieve program goals.
• Informs customers on Good Points program to achieve program goals.
• Operates telephone including professionally answering calls and paging system.
• Ensures items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked per merchandising standards and leadership guidance.
• Assists customers in locating items or seeks assistance if unable to help.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; completes opening/closing checklists and supports general cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Work is performed primarily in a standard retail backroom or warehouse environment with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.
• Primary function requires sufficient physical ability to repetitively:

• Independently twist, lift, carry, push or pull moderate (10 pounds) to heavy (25 pounds) of weight; using a team lift for objects weighing over 25 pounds.
• Reach (approximately 54 inches).
• Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.
• Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks.
• Verbally communicate to exchange information.
