Job summary

Goodwill NCW seeks a retail team member in Green Bay, WI to help customers, scan merchandise, and process payments in a fast-paced backroom/retail setting.

You will educate customers on the Round Up program, inform them about the Good Points rewards, and assist with merchandising, stocking, and cleanliness.

This role requires reliability, English fluency, basic math, and a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends; prior computer familiarity is helpful.

Our unwavering commitment to addressing the unique needs of our communities drives us to continuously evolve.What You’ll Get To Do:Ensures customer satisfaction by efficiently and accurately scanning tickets and processing payment while following cash handling standards.Educates customers on Round Up program to achieve program goals.Informs customers on Good Points program to achieve program goals.Operates telephone including professionally answering calls and operating the paging system.Ensures items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked in alignment with merchandising standards and leadership guidance.Assists customers in locating items when possible or seeks assistance for the customer if unable to help.Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; completes opening/closing checklists and supports general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance.Other duties as assigned.What We Need From You:Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work through multiple tasks simultaneously under time constraints.Excellent communication, customer service and attention to detail.Ability to operate a cash register and accurately count money.Basic math skills required.Fluent in English.Experience with computers or a willingness and ability to learn.Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule.Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the key functions of this job.
