Goodwill NCW Jobs in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to support store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will scan merchandise, handle payments, assist shoppers, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor and backroom.

The role requires strong time management, reliable attendance, English fluency, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or computer experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scan tickets and process payments following cash handling standards.
• Educate customers on Round Up program and Good Points program.
• Answer calls and operate paging system.
• Display, pull, and restock items per merchandising standards.
• Assist customers in locating items or seek help as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; complete opening/closing checklists; assist with basic cleaning including parking lot.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Get To Do:

• Ensures customer satisfaction by efficiently and accurately scanning tickets and processing payment while following cash handling standards.
• Educates customers on Round Up program to achieve program goals.
• Informs customers on Good Points program to achieve program goals.
• Operates telephone including professionally answering calls and operating the paging system.
• Ensures items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked in alignment with merchandising standards and leadership guidance.
• Assists customers in locating items when possible or seeks assistance for the customer if unable to help.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; completes opening/closing checklists and supports general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Independently twist, lift, carry, push or pull moderate (10 pounds) to heavy (25 pounds) of weight; using a team lift for objects weighing over 25 pounds.
• Reach (approximately 54 inches).
• Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.
• Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks.
• Verbally communicate to exchange information.
