Job summary

Scandinavian Designs in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Sales Associate who loves helping customers and showcasing beautiful furniture and home décor. You will deliver consultative service, drive sales in a commission-based environment, process transactions, and coordinate deliveries while keeping the showroom inviting and organized.

We offer an hourly base pay with uncapped commissions, health benefits (dental and vision), 401k with HSA, PTO, generous discounts, and training to grow your product

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service with a consultative approach.
• Able to work a mix of days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willing to lift up to 30 lbs and perform light assembly as needed.
• Experience in interior design or consulting is a plus.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service with a consultative approach
• Maximize sales growth in a commission-based environment
• Process sales transactions, schedule deliveries, and handle after-sale service

• Become an expert in our products and services through training
• Assist with store opening/closing procedures and support warehouse/delivery teams

Who You Are:

• 6 months to 2+ years of sales, retail, or customer service experience encouraged
• Excellent communication and professional sales presentation skills
• Available to work a mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs., bend, kneel, and use hand tools for assemblies
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in interior design or consulting is a plus

Position: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Training Wage: $17.13/hr - $18/hr for three months! Paid Bi-weekly!

Post Training Wage: Continuous base pay of $17.13/hr PLUS uncapped commission on personal sales and special orders!
