Job summary

Scandinavian Designs | Dania Furniture in Lynnwood is hiring for a Non-Exempt, hourly sales role. The position offers a training wage of $17.13–$18 per hour for three months, followed by a continuous base pay of $17.13/hour plus uncapped personal sales commissions on orders.

Expect a stable full-time schedule with opportunities in a growing, family-owned retailer. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k with HSA, PTO, merchandise discounts, tuition assistance, and pet insurance.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2+ years of sales, retail, or customer service experience encouraged.
• Excellent communication and professional sales presentation skills.
• Available to work a mix of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs., bend, kneel, and use hand tools for assemblies.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in interior design or consulting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with a consultative approach.
• Maximize sales growth in a commission-based environment.
• Process sales transactions, schedule deliveries, and handle after-sale service.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming showroom.
• Become an expert in our products and services through training.
• Assist with store opening/closing procedures and support warehouse/delivery teams.
