Job summary

Tri-Phase Automation in Elgin, IL is seeking a Sales Applications Engineer to grow a territory in Northern Illinois, prospect new business, and manage existing accounts with an emphasis on automation solutions. You will work in the field, delivering technical demos and tailoring applications to customer needs, collaborating with engineering and sales teams.

You will spend time meeting customers, presenting solutions, and traveling as needed to support new opportunities and ensure successful

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC, HMI, robotics, sensors, and machine vision is a plus.
• Background in automation or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Engineering degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify and win the order.
• Present solutions to key decision makers.
• Develop business plans through prospecting and lead management.
• Coordinate with teams to implement recommended applications.
• Occasional travel to customer sites (Elgin, IL area).
• Other duties as assigned.
