Job summary
Tri-Phase Automation is seeking a Sales Applications Engineer to cover the Northern Illinois territory, spending substantial time in the field with customers. You will identify needs, tailor automation solutions, and drive new business while expanding relationships with existing clients.
A mix of on-site and hybrid work is possible with regional travel. You will build product knowledge, deliver technical demos, and collaborate across teams to close opportunities and grow revenue in a dynamic
Qualifications
- Experience with PLC, HMI, robotics, sensors and industrial motion control is a plus.
- Sales and strong communication skills are a plus.
- Experience in automation or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be customer-facing, strategize and determine solutions to win orders.
- Present solutions to key decision makers and manage business development.
- Schedule appointments, deliver presentations, and nurture client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement winning strategies and demos.
- Travel within the territory and occasional vendor training sessions.
