Hertz Local Edition seeks a Mobility Specialist in Odessa, TX to act as a brand ambassador providing the fastest, easiest rental car experience to Lyft and Uber drivers.

You will handle reservations, rentals, vehicle readiness, and assist with billing questions while promoting the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program. Excellent communication, customer service, and flexibility are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operations to provide customers the best rental car experience.
• Assist with creating reservations, processing rentals, and ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for pickup.
• Address post-rental inquiries involving rental and billing processes.
• Communicate Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program details clearly to customers.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by engaging customers after inquiries and addressing objections.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for customer pickup: inspect for damage, clean interior/exterior, and refuel as needed.
• Support customers with program requirements, billing questions, and extensions.
• Maintain flexible shifts including weekends/holidays; and work outdoors when required.

Job description

The Mobility Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a brand ambassador, the Mobility Specialist will be facilitating the fastest, easiest, and most valued rental car experience to Lyft and/or Uber drivers

Wage: $16.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience.
• Provide assistance creating a rental car reservation, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles to our customers.
• Assist customers with various post rental inquiries that involve the rental and billing process.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, while providing helpful customer service that enhances the customer’s rental experience.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, rental car extensions, roadside assistance questions and more.
• Effectively communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and Procedures.
• Maximize revenue opportunities with customers by actively soliciting business after customer inquiry by overcoming customer objections.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up, including checking vehicles for damage, cleaning interior (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum, etc.) and exterior (wash) of vehicle, filling gasoline tanks and checking fill levels of all fluids.
