Job summary

Hertz Local Edition is seeking a Mobility Specialist to serve as a brand ambassador for Lyft and Uber driver rentals. You will facilitate the fastest, easiest rental experiences and ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and ready for pickup.

Role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/holiday shifts and outdoor work are possible, with emphasis on high service standards and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays, overtime as needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Fluency in English; multilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience.
• Provide assistance creating a rental car reservation, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles.
• Assist customers with post-rental inquiries involving rental and billing processes.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and requirements.
• Communicate Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program procedures effectively.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by guiding customer interactions and overcoming objections.
• Prepare vehicles for pickup, inspect for damage, clean interiors/exteriors, and check fluids and fuel.

Job description

The Mobility Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a brand ambassador, the Mobility Specialist will be facilitating the fastest, easiest, and most valued rental car experience to Lyft and/or Uber drivers

• Ensure optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience
• Provide assistance creating a rental car reservation, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles to our customers.
• Assist customers with various post rental inquiries that involve the rental and billing process
• Work in a fast-paced environment, while providing helpful customer service that enhances the customer's rental experience.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, rental car extensions, roadside assistance questions and more.
• Effectively communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and Procedures.
• Maximize revenue opportunities with customers by actively soliciting business after customer inquiry by overcoming customer objections.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up, including checking vehicles for damage, cleaning interior (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum, etc.) and exterior (wash) of vehicle, filling gasoline tanks and checking fill levels of all fluids.

Wage: $16.94/Ph
