Kankakee Country Club is seeking a dynamic Sales and Membership Manager to lead our membership and event sales initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and sales plans that drive membership recruitment, event bookings, member retention, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is energetic, relationship-focused, and passionate about hospitality and private club culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire membership sales process, including inquiries, tours, applications, and onboarding.
• Proactively generate leads through outreach, networking, local events, referrals, and follow-ups.
• Develop compelling promotional and marketing materials with input from the General Manager, Board of Directors, and team.
• Represent the Club at local business and civic events to increase visibility and attract new members and events.
• Conduct personalized club tours that highlight the amenities, services, and unique value of membership.
• Maintain and manage an organized CRM system with up-to-date prospect records.
• Coordinate and sell private and member-hosted events, including weddings, banquets, and outings.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Support Club events and outings by coordinating membership- and event-related logistics and materials.
• Manage internal and external communications, including social media content, email marketing, print collateral, and updates to the Club’s website.
• Contribute to the annual marketing, membership, and event sales budget planning process.
Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in membership and/or event sales, hospitality, or related fields.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed membership and event sales goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM platforms.
• Energetic, outgoing personality with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
