Job summary

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, Virginia Beach, is seeking a Sales Analyst intern to support the commercial team in driving improvement initiatives and revenue growth. You will use multiple data sources to inform recommendations and help enhance sales efficiency and customer acquisition.

You will proactively identify improvement opportunities, prepare business cases, work with cross-functional teams, and develop metrics and reports.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in college with a minimum of one year remaining before graduation.
• On-site 20 hours per week during normal business hours.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Highly analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, scope and prepare business cases for improvement processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop systems that support project initiatives.
• Develop metrics, reports, and process maps to support projects.
• Report weekly status to manager and identify bottlenecks.
• Analyze and cleanse various data sources to ensure sales are provided sufficient data for customers.
• Ensure all customer profiles are updated and properly assigned in CRM system.
