Job summary

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services is seeking a Process Excellence analyst to collaborate with multiple teams to map processes, design improvements, and oversee implementation. You will establish KPIs, drive adoption of new technologies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals across departments.

The role emphasizes productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction while working on-site for 20 hours weekly during normal business hours.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in college with a minimum of one year remaining before graduation.
• Proactive, energetic & independent.
• Result oriented and quick response.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, ability to work as a team and build good working relationships with senior counterparts.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, grammar and composition skills.
• Must commit to 20-hours per week, on-site, during normal business hours.
• Studies in Maritime, Supply Chain or Logistics a plus!

Responsibilities

• Identifies systematic and process gaps through process mapping
• Develops and maintains a comprehensive process mapping system that documents current processes and highlights bottlenecks
• Collaborate with departments to prioritize process improvements and align with goals
• Collaborate with Process Excellence VP to prioritize projects based on impact and resources
• Use continuous process improvement methodologies to drive optimization projects
• Facilitate adoption of new technologies and automation tools
• Communicate effectively in writing and speech for the President
• Design, implement and monitor KPIs to track improvements
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned
