Job summary

Excellus BCBS is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship in the New York area. Interns work on meaningful projects within Commercial Markets Sales and Account Service and receive mentorship throughout the program.

Development workshops and opportunities to explore fields like analytics, data, marketing, and operations are provided. Housing is not provided, and interns may work in technical or non-technical tracks.

Qualifications

• Majors/degree programs include business, marketing, communications, healthcare admin, analytics or related.
• Strong interest in healthcare, sales operations, customer experience, or business strategy.
• Experience with Power BI, Salesforce or AI-enabled tools is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic initiatives across Commercial Markets Sales and Account Service.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Training, and Leadership on projects.
• Develop resources, onboarding materials, and knowledge management assets.
• Create a centralized guide to reports, systems, contacts, and resources.
• Present recommendations to leadership at internship end.
