Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on meaningful projects across multiple tracks, are mentored by managers, and attend development workshops to bridge school and corporate life.

The program runs from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, up to 40 hours per week. Housing is not provided, and interns gain exposure to diverse business areas.

Qualifications

• Current full-time undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a degree program.
• Maintains good academic standing and strong communication skills.
• Able to interact with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to rate or Medicare bid filings through analysis of benefit designs and claims experience.
• Prepare accurate and timely trend analyses.
• Assist in risk adjustment analyses and financial planning projections.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
