Job summary

Excellus BCBS is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns attend development workshops, network with leaders, and work on meaningful projects across multiple tracks including business, IT, analytics, and more.

Mentoring is provided and housing is not included. Interns will join the Sales and Service teams to support strategic initiatives, with a capstone project to improve tools, resources, and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Majors/degree programs include business, marketing, communications, HR, healthcare administration, data analytics, psychology or organizational leadership.
• High school diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment; must be in good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to multitask and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support key strategic initiatives across Commercial Markets Sales and Account Service.
• Gain exposure to health insurance, sales operations, account management, customer experience, and analytics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Service, Marketing, Training, and Leadership on projects.
• Deliver a capstone project with recommendations to leadership and a final presentation.
