The Role

The Sales Analyst will support the National Account Managers by analyzing business trends, competitive actions, and identifying sales opportunities to drive growth. The candidate should be able to communicate insights effectively, adapt to business needs, and be highly organized and proactive.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage sales reporting using shipment data, syndicated AC Nielsen/IRI data, and retailer POS/Loyalty data.
  2. Analyze the Wella portfolio brands.
  3. Proactively analyze account and category trends, understanding market intelligence and competitive displays.
  4. Generate accurate pre- and post-promotion analyses from multiple data sources.
  5. Create ad hoc reports for situational analysis and trend insights.
  6. Develop presentations to support account strategies for innovation, displays, and pricing.
  7. Participate in customer meetings, category reviews, and joint business planning.
  8. Build strong customer relationships and become a trusted advisor.
  9. Understand retailer P&L templates to ensure analytical recommendations fit within investment ranges.
  10. Provide accurate and timely information as requested.
  11. Support administrative tasks for National Account Managers, such as deductions management and new item setups.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business)
  • Experience: 1-3 years in CPG/Beauty/DTC sales analytics or category management
  • Attributes: Analytical, organized, team-oriented, strong communicator, results-driven
Benefits

Wella offers an attractive salary, comprehensive benefits (health, pension, wellbeing), growth opportunities, and a diverse environment. Salary range: $78,000 - $100,000 annually, with additional benefits including bonuses, health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and PTO.
