Job Description: Branch Market Manager
Location: Bryan / College Station

Description:

The Bryan / College Station Branch Market Manager plays a pivotal role in the growth and success of our Consumer Banking department. This leadership position requires overseeing 2 branch locations within your designated region, ensuring the development of your team, optimizing sales and performance, and contributing to the bank's success. You will serve as a mentor and motivator for branch managers and/or supervisors under your supervision, fostering a culture of excellence and customer service. Regular meetings such as weekly 1-on-1s, daily huddles, monthly team meetings, and quarterly regional meetings are required.

Job Duties:

  • Manage multiple branches
  • Drive deposit growth and retention
  • Employee retention, coaching, and engagement
  • Oversee regional floater employees
  • Engage with the community and maintain a presence
  • Support consumer process improvements as needed
  • Conduct branch observations and new hire 1-on-1s within first 60 days
  • Review performance reports and implement action plans
  • Assist with relationship, sales, and manager training
  • Collaborate with key partners
  • Maintain knowledge of Extraco consumer banking products, digital banking, and omnichannel offerings
  • Encourage customers to adopt digital banking and virtual teller services
  • Perform regular audits related to branch operations and risk management
  • Use retail equipment and facilities portals for troubleshooting and resolution
  • Attend monthly branch management meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Branch Manager

Experience and Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of retail banking experience
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in banking or retail with direct oversight of staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance
  • Leadership certifications or designations

Work Hours: Hours vary depending on location. Must have consistent weekend availability, including Saturdays from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Managing two locations involves handling transactions and daily operations across both sites.
