As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth across your assigned territory. Your deep understanding of the truck and auto parts industry and strong relationship-building skills will position you successfully in this dynamic and competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue and gross margin (GM) targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers based on trust, product knowledge, and responsiveness.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of SAP USA’s diverse product portfolio to distributors, fleets, and service centers.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms in alignment with company goals and profitability targets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and post-sale support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Purchasing, Product Development, and Marketing—to tailor product offerings and promotional strategies to market needs.
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity within your territory.
  • Represent SAP USA at regional industry events, trade shows, and customer visits.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven sales experience, ideally within the truck or automotive parts industry.
  • Deep understanding of aftermarket distribution channels and customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Results-driven and comfortable with a metric- and performance-based sales environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and travel up to 70%.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
