Outside Sales Regional Account Manager - Industrial Service and Repair Sales

This position focuses on managing relationships and orders within existing manufacturing customers and growing the territory by acquiring new business. Previous industrial sales experience is required.

This role is home-based in the Charlotte, NC area.

Essential Functions
  1. Maintain current customers and acquire new customers within a defined geographic territory
  2. Cold call and prospect for new business opportunities
  3. Manage a book of open orders to ensure customer satisfaction and communication
  4. Update CRM daily and organize your schedule around an effective outside sales approach
  5. Build relationships with customers at all organizational levels
  6. Assist in solving customer problems to keep industry operations running smoothly

Experience, Education, and Skills
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, sales, engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial sales experience; background in industrial components and automation repairs is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong solution-selling and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience qualifying opportunities involving multiple decision-makers
  • Proficiency in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, account development, and time management
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and generate new accounts
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Valid Driver's License
