We are looking for Sales Account Manager for our office in Columbia, MD.

Who we’re looking for?

Are you an outgoing, well-spoken, polished outside sales professional with a strong desire to succeed? We want you to join our Corporate office in Columbia, MD! You will be responsible for IT Service Solutions and Staff Augmentation outside sales to build relationships and new business with Commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in Business Development, Staff Augmentation, and IT. We are offering an exciting and challenging role building new and lasting relationships with clients across the country, and we hope your first and longest lasting relationship will start with us!

Qualifications

Location: Columbia, MD

Job Responsibilities:

As a Sales Account Manager, you will build new and existing accounts through business-to-business client development. Your main focus will be on finding potential new client companies and presenting our staffing services to them while continuing to develop long-term business relationships.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

  1. Obtaining and generating leads through prospecting and setting new meetings with prospective clients.
  2. Building strong networks throughout your assigned territory by joining associations, networking groups, and utilizing social media.
  3. Planning, developing, and executing a territory plan for your assigned region.
  4. Conducting meetings with new and existing clients to express and discuss Medix’s value proposition and to ensure the continuous development of future relationships and partnerships with Medix’s clients.
  5. Negotiating contract terms to ensure a win/win outcome for both Medix and our clients.
  6. Acting as a liaison between clients, recruiters, and contractors for any compliance or employment issue that should arise during the contractor’s assignment.
  7. Leading the development of assigned recruiters to ensure continued growth and success.
  8. Consistently meeting and exceeding weekly and quarterly quotas.

Requirements:

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager who is passionate and motivated to work hard and exceed expectations – your own as well as ours. You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and sales-oriented environment. It is also important that you display exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the consultative mindset required to effectively grow and expand client and consultant relationships.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  1. Bachelor's degree, strongly preferred.
  2. Previous sales experience or an interest in building a sales-oriented career.
  3. Professional and goal-oriented demeanor.
  4. High energy.
  5. Ability to show initiative.
  6. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
