Jay Hatfield Motorsports in Wichita, KS is seeking full-time sales associate(s) to join our team. You will build relationships with customers, demonstrate vehicles, and close sales, earning hourly pay plus commissions.

We offer medical and dental benefits, a 401K with matching, paid vacation, and plenty of growth opportunities. Ideal candidates have 1 year of sales or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1 year sales experience or related customer service field.
• Available to work flexible hours & Saturdays.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen (not testing for THC).

Responsibilities

• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
• Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts
• Meet sales goals
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day
